Job Summary
Admit, recover, and discharge adult patients from the Cardiovascular Lab while providing direct care, evaluating outcomes, and administering moderate sedation under physician guidance. Monitor and position patients during procedures, assess equipment readiness, and obtain supplies to meet cardiovascular lab team needs. Communicate effectively with physicians and team members regarding patient conditions, perform head-to-toe and post-procedure assessments, and participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities. Requires current NV nursing license, BLS, and ACLS certification, with one year of acute care experience and willingness to take call/standby shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current NV nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- ACLS certificate
- Minimum of one year experience in acute care setting
- Current POC certification within 6 months of hire
- Willing to take call/standby in the Cardiovascular lab as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of telemetry experience
- Cath Lab experience
- One year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
