Job Summary
The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will assist cardiologists and radiologists in both invasive and non-invasive procedures, ensuring accurate monitoring and documentation of patient conditions. Responsibilities include developing individual care plans, admitting and discharging patients, and implementing nursing standards according to hospital policies. The role demands effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams, as well as maintaining operational supplies in the lab. Candidates should possess a current nursing license in Pennsylvania, BLS/ACLS certifications, and ideally have experience in cardiac settings.
Required Qualifications
- Current State Nursing License in Pennsylvania or having made application for licensure
- Current BLS/ACLS are required
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum of one year adult, acute care with cardiology/cardiovascular nursing
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in cardiac cath lab preferred
- IABP experience preferred
- CCRN preferred
