Job Summary
Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process. Direct and supervise other team members while collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to provide age-appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. Communicate clearly, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth. Maintain current Basic Life Support certification and a Texas RN license with at least 12 months of experience, including specific Cath Lab experience. Work M-F with call on a 10X4 day shift. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a Magnet-designated hospital and the only adult Level I Trauma Center in southern Dallas.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 12 months RN experience
- Cath Lab experience as an RN
Desired Qualifications
- BSN Preferred
