Job Summary
Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process. Direct and supervise team members while collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to provide age and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. Communicate clearly, build relationships to foster collaboration, and take initiative for professional growth. Maintain current Basic Life Support and department-specific certifications with at least 12 months of RN experience, including Cath Lab experience. Work M-F with call on a 10X4 day shift. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center offering diverse programs including neonatal intensive care and organ transplantation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 12 months RN experience
- Cath Lab experience as an RN
Desired Qualifications
- BSN Preferred
