Job Summary
Provide clinical supervision and coordinate the delivery of safe, effective, and individualised care to residents and their families at Riverview Aged Care. Complete relevant documentation for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care needs, maintaining accurate records to ensure legal adequacy and AN-ACC requirements. Manage the ordering and administration of medications in accordance with policy, Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1996, and legislative guidelines. Liaise with doctors and other health professionals to follow directions for treatments while developing care plans and completing necessary reports. Work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
- Demonstrated aged care experience
- Understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
- Experience in developing care plans
- An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- An understanding of AN-ACC
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated well developed computer and documentation skills
- National NDIS worker screening check
- Evidence of two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination
- Successful completion of a Working with Children Check
- Mandatory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
