Job Summary
In the role of Registered Nurse at The Salvation Army Aged Care Mossman, provide clinical supervision and coordinate delivery of safe, effective, and individualized care to residents and their families, including managing staff and resources, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating medication administration, and ensuring AN-ACC compliance. Liaise with doctors and health professionals, complete care plans and required reports, and support residents to lead active, meaningful lives in alignment with the organisation's mission and values. The role emphasises leadership in aged care, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and promoting culturally sensitive care, with opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated aged care experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Understanding of AN-ACC
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated well developed computer and documentation skills
- National NDIS worker screening check
