Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Casual) in Radiation Oncology at GenesisCare in Werribee. Deliver high-quality nursing care, including patient education, wound management, and medication administration, while coordinating daily patient workflows with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, and Patient Services teams. Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to clinical protocols, apply medication safety practices, and use ISBAR for effective handovers. Join a small, collaborative nursing team on a Monday–Friday schedule with no night shifts, and contribute to a patient-centered cancer care experience across a network of locations.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least two years of post‐graduate nursing experience preferred
- Oncology experience is valued, with training provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to best practice care, continuous improvement, and adherence to NSQHS standards
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and learning
