Registered Nurse Casual AgeCare Aylmer

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. Supervises the activities and provides direction to Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers. Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and with other services within the residence. Leads shift report with health-care team members, ensuring all are informed of changes in residents’ status. Records significant changes in residents’ condition with documentation aligned to AgeCare policies and Standards of Practice, and processes physician orders promptly; communicates any difficulties in processing orders to the Director of Care/Assistant Director of Care.
