Job Summary
Assess and monitor the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients while creating hospice care plans that align with their wishes and goals. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions to manage pain and symptoms, then educate and support the patient's family and caregivers. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and maintain accurate, timely documentation. Participate in on-call rotation as required by the local branch. This role offers flexible scheduling options and 1:1 care opportunities for a registered nurse with one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Current licensure to practice in state of operation
- One year nursing experience
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years nursing experience
- Experience in hospice or a similar setting
- Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care
- Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
