Job Summary
Provide one-on-one, individualized care in patient homes, performing procedures such as IVs, wound care, and sterile procedures. Collaborate with families to decrease barriers to care and advocate for patients with other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and families on disease processes to maximize independence. Work two 12-hour shifts with limited call coverage on holidays and a few weekends. Complete a 90-day orientation with a preceptor. Maintain a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with a valid Indiana State RN license
- Valid Driver's License
- Current auto insurance
- Access to automobile
- One-year Med/Surg experience
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- One to two years Homecare/Hospice experience
- Hospice- CHPCN
- Homecare- MedSurg, OASIS
- One to two years experience related to unit of hire
- Goshen Home Care: Medical/Surgical
