Job Summary
Coordinate nursing care and provide direct patient care and patient/family education in the Care Transition Unit during nights. Lead nursing activities and participate in mentoring, quality improvement, and committee projects in alignment with the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients, delegating tasks according to skill level and resources, and potentially driving a personal vehicle as needed.
