Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular/Telemetry Unit

Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for designated patients in the Cardiovascular/Telemetry Unit; collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams; ensures patient and family education, adherence to ANA scope and standards, utilization of evidence-based practice, and engagement in performance improvement activities. Mentors new colleagues and interns, precepts as assigned, and contributes to unit and hospital goals while maintaining safety and quality of care. Requires night shift, on-site at LVHN facility in East Stroudsburg, PA; requires RN licensure in PA and BLS/ACLS as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Nursing program
- RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- AHA - American Heart Association
- Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies
- Basic computer skills
- Successful completion of orientation programs related to specialty
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Nursing
- 1 year Acute Care Experience preferred
