Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Surgical ICU Weekends

Conduct competent nursing care for critically ill post-operative cardiac patients in a 20-bed CSICU, managing cases involving CABG, valve procedures, ECMO, and mechanical ventilation. Perform intensive hemodynamic monitoring, administer multiple drug infusions and IABP therapy, and coordinate complex respiratory and neurological care. Provide patient education, family communication, and health promotion while adhering to the nursing process and professional standards. Requires 1 year of RN experience, BLS/ACLS certifications, and a Virginia RN license. Weekend shifts available with a sign-on bonus. New nurses join a 12-week Transition to Practice program featuring mentorship and simulation training.
