Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect holistic cardiovascular care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures in the Cardiovascular Pre/Post unit. Apply the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and support patients and their families throughout the procedural experience. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely, and compassionate care, delegating appropriate tasks to team members under supervision. Requires strong critical-thinking, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - Nursing (Required)
- New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required)
- Registered Nurse Required
- ACLS PALS may be required but is dependent on unit or department Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
