Registered Nurse Cardiovascular PCU

Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered cardiac and postoperative nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN delivers pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, serves as an advocate for patients, and supports an unparalleled patient experience. You will assess patient condition during admission and each shift, perform procedures as ordered by the medical provider, document care in the patient’s medical record, administer prescribed medications and monitor responses, and maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical care. Eligible for a sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment. Located in Mission Hospital, Asheville, North Carolina.
