Job Summary
CVOR nurse circulator in Bloomington Hospital CVOR team, providing circulating support for a wide variety of cardiovascular procedures and assisting with anesthesia care specific to complex cardiac and vascular cases. The role also circulates in the main operating room and participates in service line rotations including gynecology, neurology, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, and vascular surgery. Responsibilities include adherence to safety standards, ensuring efficiency, and delivering high-quality patient care across assigned specialties. Requires ASN; BSN preferred; active IN RN license or NLC; BLS; on-call requirements with on-site readiness within 30 minutes; Full Time Days available with 3rd weekend on-call and limited weekday on-call.
Required Qualifications
- Associates of Nursing (ASN) required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions allowed if more than two years of acute care experience)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
