Job Summary
Perioperative Registered Nurse for Cardiovascular OR providing direct patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations during the perioperative period. Functions as patient advocate, assesses the surgical environment for safety, collaborates with the surgical team to facilitate procedures, and may mentor new staff and coordinate supplies and equipment. Requires state-approved nursing education; BSN preferred. IL RN license and CPR/BLS required. Full-time role with hours 6:30a–3p, M-F with rotating call, weekend and holiday schedules.
