Job Summary
CVOR Nurse: Cardiovascular Operating Room RN delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care for cardiovascular surgical patients. Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses; assesses medical status on admission; assists in developing individualized treatment plans; ensures compliance with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines. Requires a BSN, Colorado RN license, current BLS (and ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate), and preferably at least 1 year of cardiothoracic nursing experience. Location: St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, Grand Junction, CO; Schedule: 40 hours/week, shifts Mon-Fri with call; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with employer match, PTO/illness bank, tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year, and wellness programs.
Required Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited program
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service (as applicable)
- At least one (1) year of Cardiothoracnursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical services setting (highly preferred)
