Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular, Nights at Mayo Clinic. Responsible for coordinating nursing care, direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model. Provides leadership through precepting, formal/informal leadership activities, and quality-improvement efforts; delegates tasks based on skill level, acuity, and resources. Requires strong communication, mentoring, and teaching abilities; may require driving a personal vehicle. TN sponsorship available with state licensure and VisaScreen or equivalent certification. Schedule details: nights, 1845-0715, 5 shifts per two-week period, weekends every third. Location across Mayo Clinic campuses with Jacksonville as the primary site; on-campus/hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) competency; ACLS if applicable
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends; on-call
- Experience/aptitude in teamwork, communication, and use of electronic medical record systems
