Job Summary

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals on the Cardiovascular Care Unit using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary team through delegation and coordination while managing time, supplies, and resources to prioritize patient needs. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans involving patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Perform physical assessments, monitor clinical outcomes, and revise care plans based on patient response. Requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and a BSN degree; involves 3x 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
  • Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
  • RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • 3x 12 hour shifts
  • weekend and holiday requirements
  • 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
