Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals on the Cardiovascular Care Unit using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct interdisciplinary teams through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate delivery. Perform physical, social, and psychological assessments; develop individualized care plans with patient and family involvement; and monitor clinical outcomes to revise plans as needed. Provide accurate documentation, maintain legal and ethical standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and strong manual dexterity for patient transfers and equipment operation. 3x 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 3x 12 hour shifts
- weekend and holiday requirements
- 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
