Job Summary
Conduct direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to increase patient and family quality of life. Develop and implement plans of care using the nursing process, including collecting assessment data, determining diagnoses, identifying outcomes, and evaluating results. Establish effective relationships with patients, families, and the inter-professional team to facilitate unique care plans and collaborative decision-making. Educate patients and families on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health. Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues, students, and others. Perform point of care testing as assigned. Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Requires a Registered Nurse license in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin, plus Basic Life Support certification. Night shift with 36 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
- Night Shift
