Registered Nurse Cardiology Stepdown

Registered Nurse Cardiology Stepdown responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the cardiology step-down setting. Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts, perform procedures and treatments as ordered, administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and promptly address any adverse events. Document care accurately in the medical record, educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps, and translate complex medical terminology to ensure understanding. Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to ensure positive clinical outcomes and a compassionate patient experience. Must meet ACLS and BCLS requirements within 30 days of employment and hold a Bachelor’s Degree with RN licensure and at least 1 year of RN experience.
