Job Summary
Assess patients during intake, documenting symptoms and initiating care plans. Administer medications and treatments, including vaccines and inhalation therapies. Perform diagnostic ancillary testing such as lab draws and EKGs while assisting providers during procedures. Triage patient concerns via telephone or in-person interactions and coordinate follow-up care by responding to patient portals and returning calls. Deliver patient education on disease processes and medication management. Maintain a sanitized clinical environment, review clinic logs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans. Respond to emergencies and participate in quality improvement initiatives. No weekends, holidays, or call required. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of nursing experience in a clinical or outpatient setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BLS - Basic Life Support obtained from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to assess, plan, and implement patient care
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records for accurate documentation
- Knowledge of infection control protocols, clinic safety standards, and quality improvement practices
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex patient care situations
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Empathy, compassion, and professionalism in patient interactions
- Authorized to work in the U.S. for an employer
