Job Summary
Cardiology Float Pool RN responsible for delivering quality care before, during, and after cardiac stress testing, pre/post cardiac catheterization, and monitoring during pacemaker MRI and CTA testing; plans and coordinates daily inpatient/outpatient schedules with supervisor and lead Cardiologists in the cardiology/diagnostic imaging departments; requires ACLS, 12-lead EKG interpretation, and RI RN licensure; BSN preferred and 4+ years cardiac care experience.
Required Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- minimum 4 years direct experience caring for cardiac patients such as CCU or dedicated cardiac floor
- ACLS certification required
- Direct cardiac care requirement may be waived if more than 3 years of cardiac stress testing experience
- Proficiency in 12 lead EKG interpretation required
- RI State RN Licensure required
