Registered Nurse

Per Diem Registered Nurse at Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP), part of the CardioVascular Logistics platform. Responsibilities include setting up and monitoring patients for stress testing (nuclear, PET CT pharmacological, stress echo, nuclear treadmill, and regular treadmill studies), EKG rhythm identification and interpretation (including arrhythmias), preparing patients for procedures, obtaining histories and consents, and providing patient education. The role involves handling medical emergencies related to stress testing, maintaining patient confidentiality, triaging urgent calls, documenting interactions in the EMR, providing high-level triage, and supporting physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff. Other duties include loop monitor implants and participating in peer reviews; the position requires a current RN license, ACLS, BLS, CPR, BSN, two years of cardiology RN experience, multitasking ability, and comfort with EMR systems.
