Job Summary
Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated care, carry out physician and nursing orders, and manage discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Round with physicians in an inpatient setting and apply evidence-based practice to ensure care meets age-specific and clinical needs. Demonstrate professional nursing standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, maintaining constant alertness and safety. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires Illinois RN license and BLS certification. Full-time day shift (M-F) at SSM Health Medical Group Mount Vernon.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- State of Work Location: Illinois
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
