Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Cardiology/Cardiac Rehab/Heart Failure responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and supervising patient care on a nursing unit; provides supervision of non-RN personnel; may serve as charge nurse and preceptor; delivers care across neuro-focused cardiology units with expertise in neuro assessment, airway management, and post-operative cardiac care. Requires BSN preferred with CT RN licensure and BCLS; competitive salary with comprehensive benefits; unit-specific expertise includes Cardiac ICU/CTICU, hybrid stepdown units, and advanced heart failure management.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire.
