Registered Nurse – Cardiology / Cardiac Rehab / Heart Failure

Provide nursing care on hospital units focusing on cardiac and neuro-critical care. Manages and documents patient plans of care, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, and educates patients and families. Serves as preceptor and charge nurse, with responsibilities including supervision of non-RN staff, airway management for neuro patients, and care for ventilated patients (neuro/CTICU contexts). Work includes phasing care across the continuum, evaluating patient responses, and planning discharge education. Cardiac ICU/CTICU/NV experiences emphasized, with exposure to devices and advanced therapies (e.g., LVAD, ECMO) and the organization’s TIA Teaching Program.
