Job Summary
Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiology. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitoring patient conditions and adjusting care plans; administering medications and therapies per protocols; promoting safety and participating in governance and quality initiatives; documenting in EHR and ensuring effective communication with patients and families; collaborating with the care team; float to other Advocate Heart sites as needed. Requirements include cardiology experience, strong patient care and teamwork, BLS, active RN license, and the ability to float within designated service areas. BSN preferred. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; no weekends or on-call. Pay range: $35.50–$53.25/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Cardiology experience preferred
- Strong patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to float to other Advocate Heart sites on occasion
- Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where client is located
- BLS certification
- BSN preferred
- Nursing education program graduate (Board of Nursing approved)
- Experience with EHR/documentation
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM without on-call requirements
