Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Cardiac Telemetry on a per diem basis at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. Requires active RN license in NY, with a BSN preferred; unit uses ACLS/PALS as applicable. Provides comprehensive nursing care in an acute care, telemetry setting; duties include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, advocating for patients, facilitating learning, and maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced 25-bed unit. Per diem schedule with hourly pay range and eligibility for a per diem differential.
Required Qualifications
- State RN license in the state of employment
- BSN preferred
- BLS certification
- ACLS unit dependent
- PALS unit dependent
- Minimum one year RN experience or transition from NLRN program
- Ability to comply with Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Strong communication and critical thinking
