Job Summary
Registered Nurse position focusing on Cardiac Telemetry, part-time days, in Whites Creek, TN. Responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, and planning nursing care for telemetry patients; conducting comprehensive assessments; developing and implementing individualized care plans; administering medications and therapies; ensuring accurate documentation; and maintaining patient safety and quality of care. Requires Tennessee nursing licensure, a nursing diploma/degree, BLS within 90 days of hire, and unit-specific certifications (ACLS, NVCI, TNCC/PALS/ENPC as applicable) with experience in adult, pediatric, critical care, oncology, and emergency settings as outlined by unit requirements. Skills include telemetry monitoring, use of Omnicell and pneumatic tube systems, and ability to work under pressure for extended shifts. Location: Whites Creek, Tennessee (US).
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
- Nursing diploma or degree
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months (where applicable)
- NVCI certification within 6 months (where applicable)
- TNCC/PALS/ENPC as required by unit
- PALS within 6 months (where applicable)
- Oncology chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year (for Oncology)
- Pediatric Emergency Room: PALS within 6 months, ACLS within 6 months, ENPC/TNCC within 6 months
- Ongoing unit-specific certifications as needed (AACN, CCRN, CCP)
- Ability to lift up to 250 lbs and stand for extended periods
