Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry - Part Time Days

Job Summary
Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner for patients in the cardiac telemetry unit, with required Tennessee licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NVCI, PALS/TNCC as applicable to unit), and experience across Adult Medical/Surgical, Pediatric, Critical Care, Oncology, and Emergency Patient Care Deliveries. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, individualized care planning, patient teaching and discharge planning, medication administration, documentation, and maintaining a healing and safe care environment. Requires ability to work in a hospital setting, with alignment to unit-specific requirements and credentialing timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- NVCI certification within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- TNCC/PALS/ENPC as indicated for unit (where applicable)
- PALS within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- PALS within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- Oncology certification within one year (where applicable)
- Oncology chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year (for Oncology)
- One year of emergency/pediatric experience preferred (where applicable)
- TN license
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation within specified timelines (where applicable)
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- PALS within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- NVCI within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
