Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry - Part Time Days

Job Summary
Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner for a Cardiac Telemetry unit; perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure safe medication administration and documentation. Requires Tennessee RN licensure, nursing degree/diploma, and Varying certifications (BLS, ACLS, NVCI, TNCC/ENPC, PALS) within specified timeframes depending on unit assignment; expected to work in a part-time, dayshift capacity on the Telemetry/Cardiac floor with diverse adult and pediatric populations. Also expects proficiency in telemetry equipment, medication systems, and care delivery across multiple units including Adult Medical/Surgical, Pediatric, Critical Care, Oncology, and Emergency settings.
Required Qualifications
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire (for certain units)
- ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year of hire (for Oncology)
- PALS within 6 months of hire (for Pediatric scenarios)
- TNCC or ENPC within 6 months of hire (for Emergency)
- PALS within 6 months of hire (for Pediatric Emergency Room)
- ENPC or TNCC within 6 months of hire (for Pediatric scenarios)
