Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry, Oncology & Hospice (2 West) providing professional nursing care, patient/family education, and coordination with interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, patient assessments and care plan development, documentation in Meditech, discharge planning, implementing nursing interventions, and supervising charge nurse duties as applicable. Requires current RN licensure in Ohio (or WV if applicable), BLS on hire, and ACLS within 1 year, with strong emphasis on communication, teamwork, patient safety, and adherence to hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in the State of Ohio as Registered Nurse
- BLS required upon hire
- ACLS within 1 year of employment
- Verbal, clerical, numerical, and manual dexterity, color vision and near visual acuity, proper lifting techniques and body mechanics
