Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry Medical Surgical

Conduct direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols by systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Establish effective relationships with patients, families, and significant others to facilitate unique care plans. Utilize the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care, including collecting assessment data, determining diagnoses, and identifying outcomes. Develop assessment and management strategies considering physical, functional, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational, and leisure dimensions of human responses to health problems. Coordinate and collaborate with patients, families, communities, and inter-professional teams in assessing needs, setting goals, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes. Educate patients and families on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health or comfort. Foster a healthy work environment by serving as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues, students, and others. Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge to medical-surgical nursing practice, ensuring care is delivered based on patient age-specific and clinical needs. Maintain constant alertness and safety while performing point of care testing as assigned. Work night shifts with a scheduled weekly total of 24 hours.
