Job Summary
Deliver direct nursing care in cardiac telemetry by systematically evaluating patient data, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions. Coordinate with the inter-professional team to assess needs, set goals, and provide compassionate education to patients and families. Serve as a mentor and role model while maintaining constant alertness to monitor patient status and respond to alarms. Perform point-of-care testing as assigned and uphold safety standards throughout the shift. Work part-time day shifts (7A–7P) with every third weekend rotation, applying medical-surgical nursing standards to improve quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
