Job Summary
Implement and monitor personalized care plans to prioritize patient safety, recovery, and high-quality outcomes while coordinating a multidisciplinary team for seamless treatment communication. Vigilantly monitor patient conditions to advocate for health by communicating critical changes to the medical team for immediate, proactive interventions. Assess discharge needs and coordinate clear transition plans to ensure patients and families have resources for successful home recovery. Requires Indiana RN licensure, BLS certification, and 1-2 years of cardiac experience in high acuity inpatient settings. Full-time day shift (7am-7pm) at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- at least 1-2 yrs previous cardiac exp in a high acuity inpatient hospital
