Job Summary
Plan, evaluate, and deliver specialised nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures under the guidance of Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Nurses, and Shift Leaders. Manage emergency situations with strong adaptability in dynamic environments while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Provide post-operative care for cardiac and vascular angiograms, with specific experience required in chest drains and pacing. Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to patients. This role is part of Ramsay Health Care's network of hospitals, including John Flynn Private Hospital on the Gold Coast.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 12 months' experience working in an acute setting
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations
- Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situations
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience working with chest drains & Pacing
- Experience with post-op Cardiac and Vascular angiograms
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
