Registered Nurse- Cardiac Surgery ICU, Part Time Days

Assess patients and identify care needs to organize, implement, and evaluate nursing care in the Cardiac Surgery ICU. Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned, maintain accurate patient care records, and administer medications per physician orders. Respond appropriately to life-threatening situations while establishing collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary staff. Monitor care quality based on outcome-oriented indicators and actively participate in cost containment and accurate charging. Adjust care based on age-specific physiological and psychosocial needs, supporting patients in cultural and spiritual beliefs. Requires at least one year of CSICU or PCU experience and current North Carolina RN licensure.
