Job Summary
Conduct direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols by systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Develop and implement individualized plans of care using the nursing process to collect assessment data, determine diagnoses, and evaluate patient outcomes. Establish effective relationships with patients, families, and the inter-professional team to facilitate care plans and participate in collaborative decision-making. Educate patients and families on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health while fostering a healthy work environment as a mentor and role model. Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge to medical-surgical nursing, ensuring care is delivered based on age-specific and clinical needs. Perform point of care testing as assigned and maintain a constant state of alertness.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
