Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Unit providing patient-centered care on an 18-bed telemetry unit focused on post-procedure cardiac patients (pacemaker insertions, angiograms, ablations, angioplasty) with mandatory clinical ladder progression. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessments, documenting and communicating with the interdisciplinary team, developing and updating individualized plans of care, ensuring compliance with policies on safety, medication administration, and documentation, and completing clinical research utilization forms and required CEUs annually. Requires NYS RN license, Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing, and BLS certification; BSN preferred with at least 6 months of experience preferred. Schedule is full-time Nights (7p-7a) with every other weekend and holiday; 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
