Job Summary
Registered Nurse Cardiac Rehab participates in a standardized immersion training program with orientation, unit-based precepted clinical experiences, and didactic instruction. Under the guidance of a Preceptor and Nursing Unit Supervisor, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients, contributing to patient outcomes and the future of nursing through collaboration with managers and hospital councils. The role emphasizes clinical skills in cardiac-related care, teamwork, adherence to hospital policies, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, or Master Degree in Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- No Travel Required
- 3 years experience required
