Registered Nurse Cardiac Rehab

Job Summary
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes in cardiac rehabilitation. Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice, with patient/family education integrated throughout care. Requires BSN or equivalent, active RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of ICU/CCU or cardiac rehab experience; cardiopulmonary assessment, exercise physiology knowledge, and proficiency with computer skills and educational planning are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or equivalent
- BLS certification required
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license
- Prefer ACSM certification at the Exercise Specialist level, Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist or ANA Cardiac Rehabilitation certification
- A minimum of 1-year experience in ICU, CCU or other critical care nursing is required; a minimum of 1-year experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation is preferred
