Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for cardiac rehab patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Monitor heart rhythms and blood pressure during exercise while providing guidance on exercise prescriptions and educating patients on risk factors, diet, stress, and blood pressure control. Coordinate interdisciplinary care through delegation and collaboration with physicians, families, and support staff to develop individualized plans of care and prepare patients for follow-up. Document patient status accurately and adhere to legal and ethical standards. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN degree.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience caring for the cardiac and pulmonary patient
- Recognition of heart rhythms
- Recognition of emergency situations
- 9 hour shifts
- 4 days per week
- 7:30 or 8:00AM Start times
- Location: Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital
- Work City: Billings

- Hourly range: $38.37 - $57.29
- Compliance with all applicable Intermountain policies and expectations
