Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for cardiac rehab patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Monitor heart rhythms and blood pressure during exercise while providing education on risk factors, diet, stress, and blood pressure control. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and a BSN; includes 9-hour shifts starting at 7:30 or 8:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience caring for the cardiac and pulmonary patient
- Recognition of heart rhythms and emergency situations
- 9 hour shifts 4 days per week
- 7:30 or 8:00AM Start times
- Location: Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital
- Billings
- Montana
- 36 Scheduled Weekly Hours
- Hourly range $38.37 - $57.29
- Compliance with all applicable Intermountain policies and expectations
- No outside employment or activities that interfere with job responsibilities or create a conflict of interest
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) obtained from an accredited institution
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience obtaining their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
