Registered Nurse-Cardiac Progressive Care

RN in Cardiac Progressive Care Unit delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to adults with complex cardiac conditions requiring continuous monitoring. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administering medications and procedures with clinical judgment, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, educating patients and families on cardiac conditions and post-discharge care, documenting assessments and outcomes in the EMR, and participating in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license (state-specific), and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include ACLS certification and NIH Stroke Scale certification where applicable.
