Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiac progressive care patients by monitoring rhythms and vital signs, administering medications with clinical judgment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and post-discharge care while documenting assessments accurately within the electronic medical record. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to uphold patient safety standards. This full-time night shift role supports a mission-driven CPCU team within a nationally recognized health system, offering opportunities for advancement and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in cardiac, telemetry, PCU, or critical care nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtained within a specified timeframe)
