Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients using the nursing process, technology, and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to prioritize patient needs. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans involving patients, families, and physicians, including education and referrals. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as indicated, and ensure accurate, timely documentation. Maintain legal and ethical standards within the scope of licensure while promoting the nursing profession. Requires a current Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and preferably a BSN degree.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
