Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals in cardiac neuro stepdown units using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct interdisciplinary teams through delegation and collaboration while prioritizing care delivery, managing resources, and ensuring accurate documentation. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and physicians, including education and referrals, and continuously revise plans based on clinical outcomes and satisfaction. Maintain legal and ethical standards by practicing within licensure scope and complying with regulatory requirements. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN degree; includes 36 weekly hours at $37.45–$57.29 hourly in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
